INTRODUCTION

The Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) scheme is a facility provided under Section 65/65A of the Customs Act 1967 to promote industrial development. It allows companies to enjoy import duty and sales tax exemptions on raw materials, components, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing for export purposes. This 1-day course provides participants with the knowledge to effectively manage LMW operations, stay compliant with customs regulations, and optimize cost savings.
