MEXA is committed to promoting Malaysian education internationally through the organization of education fairs, roadshows, and student recruitment initiatives.

Malaysian Education Fairs

Since 1999, the founder of MEXA has played a key role in organizing Malaysian and international education fairs across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Asia under Exhibitions Promotion and Management Sdn Bhd (EXPAM). In 2025, these efforts resumed under MEXA, beginning with the Malaysian Universities Fair in Tripoli, Libya, in February 2025. This event, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Libya, attracted 16 Malaysian universities and drew over 1,000 Libyan students interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in Malaysia.

Building on this success, additional Malaysian education fairs are planned for 2025 in Somalia, Tunisia, and Algeria, further expanding opportunities for international students.

Student Recruitment

MEXA has also expanded its initiatives to include foreign student recruitment, offering a dedicated portal that showcases partnering Malaysian universities and colleges. This portal will serve as a key platform to engage potential students during education fairs and will be actively promoted in countries with high student interest in studying in Malaysia.

To support international students, MEXA provides comprehensive services, including assistance with visas, accommodation, healthcare, insurance, and other essential needs, ensuring a seamless transition to studying in Malaysia.
