OVERVIEW
An e-Invoice is a digital representation of a transaction between a supplier and a buyer. It replaces paper or electronic invoices, credit notes, and debit notes, containing all essential information such as supplier & buyer details, item description, quantity, price, tax, and total amount — ensuring accurate transaction records for business operations.
Starting August 2024, LHDN has made e-invoicing compulsory for companies with annual turnover exceeding RM100 million (with subsequent rollout phases for smaller businesses). The implementation aims to improve operational efficiency and prevent tax leakage. This course equips participants with a clear understanding of e-invoicing concepts, regulatory requirements, and practical adoption strategies.
