Introduction
The Sabah Labour Ordinance (Cap. 67) and the Sarawak Labour Ordinance (Cap. 76) are the primary employment laws governing private sector employment in the states of Sabah and Sarawak. Following recent amendments, many provisions have been aligned with the Employment Act 1955, while still retaining state-specific requirements.
