The Malaysian Export Academy, as a CMI recognized Centre, wishes to offer you our Signature “Certified Export Manager” program which is awarded by the Chartered Management Institute of UK. This program will also include a one-year Affiliate membership to the Institute, which will allow access to all CMI Resources, which are only available to their members.

International Qualification and Recognition – CMI is one of the earliest certification bodies in the world and is recognized worldwide

Go Export – Many companies have potential products and services that could be exported worldwide but lack the knowledge and drive to go international. These companies should send their management staff for this training so that they could initiate their companies to export or even expand their global market base.

Career Development – Malaysia is 24th largest exporter and 25th largest trade-dependent country in the world. Only 22 % of the 50k SME manufacturers are exporting while the others have pointed out that the lack of export talents in Malaysia is one of the challenges faced by them. Ample opportunities for employment and promotion in this industry.

Export Agency/Consultants – As this program provides practical training, you can also start your own export agency or consultancy

Post-Support Assistance – We will provide you with on-line post support assistance for three months



Module 1 : A to Z of Exporting – Understanding the fundamentals of exporting

Module 2 : Export Preparation – International Export Requirements and how to adapt your products or services to meet general, regional, and specific country requirements. Includes standards and certification, export costing, labelling and packaging etc.

Module 3 : Export Market Selection and Research Research – Developing an export plan, research for market prioritization, barriers, and database of buyers

Module 4 : Export Promotion and Marketing – Formulating marketing strategies and the most effective promotional tools to market your products or services, find buyers and transact orders.

Module 5 : Export e-Marketing – Using various B2B and B2C Ecommerce platforms to market worldwide and the effective use of social media tools

Module 6 : Export Management – How to manage your export business and transactions, the appointment of agents, and other issues in managing your export business

Module 7 : Global and Regional Issues – That you ought to know as an exporter in order to stay competitive and succeed in the export business.

Our mode of training includes interactive lectures, export simulation practices, group discussion, case studies and presentations.



This program is targeted at Managers, Executives and Fresh Business Graduates who wish to acquire practical and additional knowledge on Export Management or are interested in pursuing a career in this field. The minimum requirement is a diploma or degree in management. Those who have passed Higher Secondary with 3 credits with 3 years of Management working experience could also join this programme.

The assessments (assignments or presentations) will be conducted on a group or individual basis and will be done between selected modules.



This program will be conducted by our pool of experienced trainers who have been accredited or certified by HRDC, former Malaysian Trade Commissioners, Successful Exporters, and Subject Matter Experts.



Our fee for the 10 days (40 Hours) programme is USD720 (RM3300) per participant. This fee also includes:
