INTRODUCTION
1) With the implementation of OHSA 2022 (Amendment) on 1st June 2024 all industries inclusive of services with more the five (5) employees must adhere this new law.
We will walk through the new amendment and highlight sections that will affect your operations to ensure you are in compliance.
2) Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) have become fundamental to the practice of planning, management and the operation of a business as a basic of risk management. This was recognized as proactive way of managing hazard and risk, so that we will able to control the identified hazard before it become the route cause of accident. This training program will give the participant skill and knowledge on the best way of developing HIRARC activities at workplace.
Noncompliance of OHSA Act 2022. Can be fined up to 500,000.00 or 2 years in prison and HIRARC must be done for the workplace

COURSE CONTENT
- The legal requirements that they are required to understand which will have implication at the workplace – OHSA 2022 (AMMENDMENT)
- Determining and then Understanding Hazards at workplace
- Determining the risk arising from the hazard
- Classification of the hazards into high, medium or low risk
- The methodology in implementation of control measures as required legally
- Review the effectiveness of the control measures put in place.
- Creating and maintain a legal Register for the Hazards and Risk Control measures.
